(KRON) — Multiple lanes were blocked after a five-vehicle crash Thanksgiving night on Highway 84 in Fremont, the California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Hayward division posted on X. The crash happened on the eastbound lanes west of the toll plaza.
No injuries were reported. CHP said alcohol was not a factor in the crash. All eastbound lanes were blocked temporarily, but lane #1 is expected to have opened by now.

Tow trucks are headed to the scene. CHP first posted on X about the crash at 9:15 p.m.
