MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — There was a fatal crash on Malta Avenue in Malta on Tuesday at about 5:37 a.m., per the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said it happened near Van Aernem Road and the I-87 overpass.
The sheriff’s office reported one driver died on the scene and the other driver was treated at the scene and released. Malta Avenue will be closed between Van Aernem Road and Arnold Road while the Sheriff’s Accident Reconstruction Unit investigates. Drivers should take alternate routes.
