2 suspects wanted for breaking into Blanca police patrol car, stealing rifle
BLANCA, Colo. (KXRM) — Two suspects are on the run after they allegedly broke into a marked Blanca Police Department vehicle and stole a black patrol rifle early Thursday morning.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Blanca police are now asking for the community’s help in tracking down the two suspects. Police are also offering a $500 reward for the recovery of the firearm and/or information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
According to the CBI, the burglary happened on Thursday at around 2:30 a.m. in front of the police department located at 601 Main St., where the patrol car was parked. The suspects were last seen walking east from the police department.
“The picture below of the rifle is not the exact rifle, but all Blanca PD rifles are identical,” wrote the CBI, which also provided pictures of the suspects.
