DENVER (KDVR) — A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day is in effect Wednesday as snow dominates Denver’s weather forecast through the morning.
Weather today: Morning snow leading to slick travel
Snow showers will continue Wednesday morning leading to slick travel conditions. By noon, snow showers will thin out, followed by clearing clouds by the evening.
Temperatures will stay chilly all day, only reaching the 30s in the metro, which is 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.
Weather tonight: Clearing, cold
Wednesday night will stay dry with clearing clouds. This will help to rapidly drop low temperatures down to the teens.
Looking ahead: Cold & sunny heading into the weekend
It’ll be a cold start to Thanksgiving, followed by sunshine and high temperatures only reaching the upper 30s.
On Friday, clear skies will be paired with chilly temperatures starting in the teens, before reaching a high in the low to mid-40s.
Sunshine and cool temperatures will only reach highs in the 40s and stick around the forecast through the weekend.
More sunshine is in the forecast Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures climbing to highs around 50 degrees.
