Amitabh Bachchan Calls Attending Aaradhya’s School Function With Family ‘Most Exhilarating Experience’

On December 19, Amitabh Bachchan attended the much-anticipated annual function at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, where students take the stage to showcase their talents. He was joined by his wife, Jaya Bachchan, and their children, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, to support their beloved granddaughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, as she performed on stage. It was a moment filled with pride and joy for the Bachchan family, and Big B didn’t hesitate to share his feelings in a heartfelt blog post shortly after the event.

In his post, Amitabh Bachchan described the experience as “the most exhilarating,” speaking about the magic of watching children perform with such innocence and enthusiasm. He shared, “Children… their innocence and desire to be at their best in the presence of parents… such a delight… and when they are in the company of thousands performing for you… it is the most exhilarating experience.” His words painted a picture of the pure joy that comes from seeing a child excel, and how moments like these remind us of the simple pleasures in life.

Even after such an emotional high, Big B’s dedication to his work remained evident. In his blog, he mentioned that after spending time with his family, he would return to his professional commitments the very next day. “Back to work tomorrow after a day’s rest… but work did not stop… and then working for the future needed attention and consent and affirmation…” he wrote, underscoring how deeply committed he is to both his craft and his family.

While the Bachchans’ presence certainly stood out, the event was also attended by several other Bollywood luminaries. Shah Rukh Khan, with his wife Gauri and daughter Suhana, was there to cheer for their son, AbRam Khan, who shared the stage with Aaradhya in a play. Other notable guests included Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, who came to support their children Misha and Zayn, and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, who were seated close to the Khans. Their son, Taimur Ali Khan, also showcased his acting skills, adding to the star-studded atmosphere.

The following day, on December 21, Aishwarya brought her mother, Vrinda Rai, to the function. In a touching moment captured on video, Aishwarya was seen lovingly caring for her mother, a gesture that highlighted her nurturing and responsible side. The event was a beautiful reminder of family bonds, the joy of seeing children grow, and the collective celebration of talent and love that brought everyone together.
