Live Updates: Thunder, rain may be heading to the North Bay
(KRON) – The rain has significantly slowed down since last week. However, the National Weather Service informed residents Friday that the weekend could have “a strong storm offshore” that will cause “hazardous conditions along the coast.”
The National Weather Service forecasts that non-severe isolated thunderstorms are possible for the North Bay Area. According to KRON4 meteorologist Dave Spahr, despite non-severe thunder, there is still a risk for “heavy rain and lightning.”
Spahr also says there is around a 10-15% chance of a rumble of thunder.
