Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle planning to stay in US forever? Here is the answer – Times of India
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to stay in the United States and have no plans to return to the United Kingdom, citing security concerns and their children’s future as primary reasons.
While speaking at the DealBook Summit in New York on Wednesday, Prince Harry revealed that is enjoying his life in the US and there are many activities that he can do with his children Archie and Lilibet in America which he can’t do in the UK.
Since summer 2020, following their departure from the UK and the Royal family, the Sussexes have established their residence in Montecito, California.
Prince Harry said, “I very much enjoy living here and bringing up my kids here,” as reported by The Times.
He noted that he can engage in activities with Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, that “undoubtedly wouldn’t be able to do in the UK.”
Whilst the duke addressed the summit, Meghan extended holiday greetings to attendees at a charitable carol concert in central London.
There are several occasions where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are attending the events separately leading to the rumors of their divorce.
The programme featured Meghan’s written welcome, emphasising the organisation’s impact on women’s employment opportunities and confidence building. The event included performances by Alexandra Burke and a reading by Jennifer Saunders, the Daily Mail reported.
The Sussexes’ relationship with the Royal Family has remained complex since their 2020 departure. Through various media appearances, including their Netflix series and Harry’s memoir “Spare”, they have discussed challenges faced during their time as working royals, including Meghan’s initial interactions with the Prince and Princess of Wales and her struggles with mental health whilst pregnant with Archie in 2019.
