Arson investigators working to determine cause of north Austin fire

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Fire Department arson investigators responded to a scene in north Austin early Tuesday morning to investigate the cause of a house fire.

AFD said firefighters worked to put out a fire in the 200 block of West Caddo Street. That’s near the area of East Braker Lane and Interstate 35.

The Austin active fire incident web page showed the call for the fire came in at 2:11 a.m.

AFD said the occupants were not home at the time of the fire. They added that no one was hurt in the fire.

The agency said AFD arson investigators were responding to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
