Assistant Secretary Robinson Travels to Argentina and Uruguay – United States Department of State
Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Todd D. Robinson will travel to Argentina and Uruguay from October 14-18 to strengthen our joint efforts in the fight against illicit synthetic drugs and to reaffirm our commitments to bolster regional security. In Buenos Aires, Assistant Secretary Robinson will meet with senior Argentine government officials, a United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) representative, and experts in a high-level event to discuss joint efforts to combat synthetic drugs and diversion of chemical precursors. In Montevideo, Assistant Secretary Robinson will meet with officials to discuss ways to bolster citizen security.
