This letter refers to the news report ‘Maryam sounded me out about acquiring PIA: Nawaz’ (November 3, 2024). If the Sharif family believes it can purchase PIA, rebrand it as ‘Air Punjab’, and restore its glory days, why did the family not improve the national carrier during its many years in power?
