CHICAGO – Over 50 children in Chicago’s 19th Ward had breakfast with Santa Claus Sunday morning.
Ald. Matt O’Shea (19th Ward) hosted his annual holiday event for children with intellectual and physical challenges.
Breakfast with Santa was held in Beverly Sunday morning. The children who live in the 19th Ward also participate in the Mount Greenwood Special Recreation Program.
O’Shea, former president of the special recreation program, started hosting the breakfast years ago with help from some local businesses.
