Code Blue declared in Schenectady County

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Code Blue was declared in Schenectady County for Tuesday night due to upcoming inclement weather forecasted in the area. Homeless shelters throughout the county will have extended hours to offer aid to those in need.

The Code Blue will be in place through November 15 at 7 a.m. The following primary facilities will be available to people looking for shelter:

Bethesda House – State Street Presbyterian Church

  • Corner of State Street and Catherine Street in Schenectady
  • All adults without restrictions/qualifications
  • Beds, showers, dinner and breakfast
