Denver weather: Colder temperatures and snow to start the workweek

DENVER (KDVR) — After a mild weekend, colder temperatures and light snow are moving into Denver’s weather forecast.

Weather tonight: Cool, mountain snow

Sunday night will be cool with temperatures falling to the 20s.

Snow showers will start in the mountains late while the Denver area sees clouds but stays dry overnight.

Weather tomorrow: Snow showers, colder

Snow showers and much colder air move in Monday. Snow showers will move from the high country down the foothills and Front Range through tomorrow.

High temperatures will reach the 30s, but feel about 10 degrees colder with wind gusts up to 25 mph.

Looking ahead: Sunshine returns for the end of the week

Snow showers will wrap up Monday evening in the metro and Tuesday in the mountains. Then sunshine moves back into the forecast alongside warmer temperatures.

That sunshine will help boost highs back into the 50s on Wednesday and through the weekend.
