Howard Stern announces sit-down interview with Kamala Harris

(KRON) — Howard Stern, the long-standing shock jock interviewer and self-proclaimed “King of All Media”, announced in a social media post that he will chat with presidential hopeful and Oakland native Vice President Kamala Harris in a live one-on-one interview.

Stern’s sit-down with VP Harris is scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. PT and will stream exclusively on Sirius XM.

The Instagram announcement has already garnered significant attention, receiving 45,000 likes, more than 9,500 comments, and 12,000 shares. Reactions to the post vary widely, with comments ranging from “Hell yes!!!” to “Glad I won’t be tuning in.”

However, don’t expect Stern to welcome Harris’ presidential rival to the hot seat.

Recently, Howard has been embroiled in a war of words with Donald Trump, a former frequent guest on the Howard Stern Show. Trump accused Stern of being “woke” during a September appearance on Fox News’s “Gutfeld!” stating, “He was great at that time, and then he went woke.”

Stern fired back, telling his listeners, “I kind of take that as a compliment, that I’m ‘woke.’ To me, the opposite of woke is being asleep.”

Harris was also recently featured on the “All the Smoke” podcast, hosted by former Golden State Warriors players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, where she discussed her love for Bay Area sports teams and her disappointment over the loss of professional teams in Oakland. “Oh, it breaks my heart,” she said. “We used to have all of them. When I go to Oakland, just past the Coliseum, it breaks my heart. Those were good, good teams.”
