Prior to Election Day, we saw a lot of social media posts from people on their way to “cancel out” a relative’s vote.
Now that the results are in and former president Donald Trump has been reelected, we’re wondering how you’re handling the political division in your family.
Maybe you’re already changing your holiday plans because you don’t think you’ll be able to stand talking with them about politics this year. You’d much rather have a nice, small dinner at home than get into arguments.
Or perhaps they only recently changed their views, and you’re still hopeful that by continuing to talk with them about your concerns you might change their minds. You’ve seen them waver on some things, so you think you might be getting through to them.
