Krishan Kumar’s Wife Says Daughter Tishaa Didn’t Have Cancer, Doctors Misdiagnosed Her; ‘Cruel World Of Medical Traps’

Film producer Krishan Kumar and his wife, Tanya Singh, recently broke their silence on the heartbreaking death of their 20-year-old daughter, Tishaa, earlier this year. While initial reports attributed her passing to cancer, Tanya has now alleged that medical malpractice and misdiagnosis were the real culprits behind her daughter’s untimely demise.

In an emotional Instagram post shared Thursday night, Tanya revealed that Tishaa was wrongly diagnosed with cancer. Accompanied by a touching video montage of Tishaa’s life, Tanya shared that her daughter’s health complications began at the age of 15 after a vaccine possibly triggered an autoimmune response. This, she claimed, was misinterpreted by doctors and led to unnecessary treatments, including chemotherapy.

Tanya described how the family was “sucked into the medical trap” and urged parents to seek multiple opinions before making significant medical decisions. She specifically warned against rushing into invasive procedures like bone marrow tests for children with swollen lymph nodes, noting that these symptoms could have other causes, including emotional trauma or untreated infections.

Despite her misdiagnosis, Tanya remembered Tishaa as a beacon of courage and positivity, even in her final months. Tanya wrote, “She never gave in to fear or depression. She wanted to show kids her age how to face challenges without succumbing to medical scare tactics.”

The grieving mother also spoke of the lasting impact of “chemo side effects” on her daughter’s body and how biomedicine helped mitigate some of the damage. She concluded her heartfelt note by praying no child would ever face such a “cruel world of medical traps or hidden negative forces.”

Krishan Kumar, a film producer and the younger brother of the late Gulshan Kumar, co-owns T-Series with his nephew Bhushan Kumar. Tanya, a former actress known for films like Dhadkan, married Krishan in 2001, and Tishaa was their only child.
