Lisle man arrested for home invasion and sexual assault in Oswego

OSWEGO, Ill. – A Lisle man has been arrested in connection with a home invasion and sexual assault back in March in Oswego.

Oswego police said on March 16, officers began investigating after the victim said an unknown man entered their home and sexually assaulted them. The suspect left the home before police arrived, but surveillance video captured the suspect inside the home.

Detectives later released pictures of the suspect in an effort to identify him, but this attempt was unsuccessful. However, forensic evidence recovered at the home subsequently led to police identifying 31-year-old Larry Foster of Lisle as the suspect, according to investigators.

Police said detectives further determined Foster and the victim knew each other.

Foster was arrested Saturday morning at his home in Lisle and taken to the Oswego Police Department where he was booked and processed. He was later taken to the Kendall County Jail to await a pre-trial hearing.

Foster has been charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault and one count of criminal trespass to a residence.
