Lottery tickets worth almost $650,000 sold in Antioch, San Leandro
No one won the Mega Millions state lottery jackpot of $489 million Tuesday, but two people playing in Antioch and San Leandro are both $648,035 richer, officials said.
The tickets were purchased at a 7-Eleven convenience store at 4355 Hillcrest Ave. in Antioch, and a Bevbox liquor store at 138 W. Juana Ave. in San Leandro.
The winners are not known yet.
They both picked all five regular game numbers, which were 5, 22, 24, 39 and 42, but not the Mega number, which for Tuesday was 3.
Neither store could immediately be reached for comment,
The winners have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their money.
Mega Millions is played on Tuesdays and Fridays. Friday’s jackpot will be at least $514 million.
