CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting on the city’s Southwest Side.
The fatal shooting happened just before 1 a.m. Monday on the 1500 block of West 65th Street in the West Englewood neighborhood.
Police said the man was on the sidewalk when someone inside a silver-colored sedan fired shot. The man sustained a gunshot wound to the head and chest and was pronounced dead on the scene.
No one is in custody. Circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated.
Area One Detectives are investigating.
