A man was shot and killed at Point Fermin in San Pedro late Wednesday night.
The man, believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, was found under a staircase near Paseo Del Mar and Meyeler Street just before midnight, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
He had sustained a gunshot wound and was declared dead at the scene.
He was not homeless, and it’s unclear if the shooting was gang-related, police said.
No information about the shooter has been released.
