Quality education
It is important to emphasize the dire need to address the overwhelming educational crisis in Pakistan. Recently, a meeting was held by the Education Task Force, where it was discussed that Pakistan is still facing an acute education crisis and funds be allocated to address the crisis of out-of-school children.
Ironically, the question arises: what has the educated class done for the betterment of Pakistan? Certainly, the literate population itself lacks the skills that come with quality education. Therefore, instead of investing Rs75 billion for the enrolment of 25 million children out-of-school, the government should invest this substantial amount for the purpose of quality education. Once the government of Pakistan ensures quality education, the other problems, such as poverty, unemployment and inflation will be automatically resolved.
