Talking about the other cast and crew he added, “We haven’t finalised the director either. We will announce the film officially before we go on floors, most likely next year.”
For the unversed, Race was set by Saif Ali Khan along with other actors in 2008 and 2013. While the first features Saif and Akshaye Khanna as two brothers, the latter starred Saif with John Abraham as the villain. Both films were blockbusters and also starred major female actors like Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and more.
The franchise’s third instalment released in 2018 led by Salman Khan but failed to impress fans at the box office due to its repetitive plot. Fans are now excited to see Saif Ali Khan return to the franchise and the action-adventure genre. He was recently seen in Devara along with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, as the villain of the series.
