Security guard stabbed on Thanksgiving night in SF, suspect at-large
(KRON) – A security guard is hospitalized after being stabbed on Thanksgiving night, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
At 8:52 p.m., San Francisco police officers responded to the 100 block of First Street due to the report of a stabbing. Responding officers found the victim suffering from “apparent stab wounds,” according to the police.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
SFPD said officers located a subject matching the description of the suspect near Market and Battery Streets.
Police discovered the subject was not the perpetrator. However, he was arrested and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for his two outstanding warrants out of county and possession of drug paraphernalia.
There have not been any arrests for the stabbing, according to SFPD.
