Trump’s roasting of Fani Willis, Nathan Wade viral after Georgia DA disqualified from 2020 case – Times of India

Fani Willis and Nathan Wade never confirmed or denied any romantic relationship.

A Georgia Court of Appeals Thursday disqualified Fulton County District Attonet Fani Willis from prosecuting the 2020 election interference case against President-elect Donald Trump. The appeals court found that a “significant appearance of impropriety” was enough to potentially taint the case in the public eye. The appellate court, however, decided that it wouldn’t dismiss the sprawling racketeering conspiracy case entirely.
Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung issued a statement reacting to the decision. “In granting President Trump an overwhelming mandate, the American People have demanded an immediate end to the political weaponization of our justice system and a swift dismissal of all the Witch Hunts against him. We look forward to uniting our country as President Trump Makes America Great Again,” it said.
As the decision came, an old video of Donald Trump roasting Willis and Nathan Wade went viral. Trump and some of his co-defendants indicated that Fani Willis had a romantic relationship with Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor she hired to help handle the case.

‘Nathan Wade had experience in something else’

Trump’s election campaign was a lot of roasting of the prosecutors who indicted him. One of the videos in which he was roasting Fani and Nathan went viral as Fani Willis was disqualified.
“I was indicted by Fani in Georgia… her lover, Nathan Wade, and they hired him for almost a million dollars because of his great, great experience…He had experience in something else. You know, a lot of experience. And at that, I’m quite sure he was very good based on the fact that she called him 2000 times,” Trump said in the viral video adding that he never called Melania Trump so many times.
