Turkeys donated to veterans, active duty military service members

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A couple of local businesses teamed up on Thursday to provide Thanksgiving meals for those who have served the country. Price Chopper/Market 32 partnered with the Tully Rinckey law firm to donate more than 200 turkeys to active duty service members and veterans.

Organizers said it is a simple but important way to say thank you.

“So, it’s our small gesture of remembering veterans and letting them know that they’re not forgotten, especially around the holiday season,” Greg Rinckey, veteran and founding partner, said.

This is the 16th year of the giveaway. Organizers said all the turkeys were gone within an hour.
