Home Minister Amit Shah celebrated Makar Sankranti, flying a kite from the rooftop of a building in Ahmedabad. He arrived at the Shantinagar Society in Memnagar an hour shy of noon with several other local leaders.
During the festive revelaries, the kites of Shri Shah were cut off twice by the local lads. One of the moments was captured on cam, which went viral across social media. A few users suggested that the clip could be from last year. Regardless, the video of the lad jubilant over cutting the home minister’s kite was contagious. All in good jest though, as is the tradition. No feelings were hurt, except the kati patang cut loose and caved into Newtonian gravity.
