Watch: Sky Elements sets new US record with largest drone show over Texas – Times of India
Sky Elements set a new record in the United States for the largest drone show, flying 5,000 drones over Mansfield, Texas, before Christmas. This marks their 11th Guinness World Record, surpassing their own record of 2,500 drones set just a week earlier.
In Mansfield, a spectacular drone show lit up the night sky in a Thanksgiving spectacle, with drones soaring above the city to create breathtaking scenes. The images displayed a lifelike turkey spreading its feathers across the sky, followed by a festive Christmas-themed spectacle. A charming gingerbread village appeared, complete with candy cane street lamps, gumdrop rooftops, and gingerbread houses. As the glittering village shimmered in the evening light, a large snowman added a touch of winter magic to the scene.
The finale featured Santa Claus and his reindeer flying across the skyline, bringing Christmas cheer to the crowd. His sleigh was filled with gifts. “Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good flight!” the display seemed to say.
Preston Ward, chief pilot of Sky Elements, expressed excitement over the achievement: “We teamed up to create holiday cheer in a new, fun way: by making the largest gingerbread village… made entirely of drones!”
This record-breaking feat was achieved in collaboration with UVify, a leader in drone technology. Robert Cheek, COO of UVify, praised the team: “Today’s achievement is a testament to the incredible innovation and dedication of the entire UVify team.”
