Weekend Break: Briny Swine Smokehouse & Oyster Bar
CHICAGO — A barbeque restaurant on the city’s North Side has only been open for about six months, but it is already making a name for itself.
The Briny Swine Smokehouse & Oyster Bar, which is located in the 2500 block of North Clark Street in Lincoln Park, opened its doors on June 1 last year.
The restaurant is a seaside-inspired smokehouse and oyster bar that features Carolina-style barbeque, seafood, and Lowcountry classics.
Briny Swine chef and owner Brandon Rushing spoke with WGN’s Christine Flores on Saturday about what makes his restaurant stand out.
