What will be closed on Thanksgiving in San Diego County?
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — As Thanksgiving Day approaches, officials with the county of San Diego are reminding residents that there will be several office closures in recognition of the holiday.
In fact, all public county offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, as well as Friday, Nov. 29. This is also true for family resource centers, libraries, public health clinics, and animal shelters.
Additionally, the following locations will be closed on those same days:
- Fallbrook Community Center
- Lakeside Community Center
- Spring Valley Community Center
- Spring Valley Gymnasium
- 4S Ranch Recreation Office only (all parks will be open)
- Community Teen Centers
- Valley Center Community Hall and Adams Park Pool
County officials did confirm, however, that the region’s parks, campgrounds and neighborhood day-use parks remain open 365 days a year. Camping reservations can be made online.
All offices will resume normal operations and hours on Monday, Dec. 2.
Law enforcement, emergency animal control response, and other essential services will continue through the holiday, county officials confirmed.
