Xiaomi has revealed that the Redmi 14C 5G will feature a “Starlight” design inspired by the cosmos, with three color options: light blue, black, and a dual-tone design combining grey and dark blue. The smartphone will support dual 5G SIM cards and include a 50MP primary camera with AI-powered imaging features.

Reports suggest that the Redmi 14C may be a rebranded version of the Redmi 14R launched in China in September. If accurate, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and feature a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1640×720 resolution. The device is expected to come with a 5160mAh battery and support 18W fast charging.

For the unversed, the Redmi 13C 5G was launched in India starting at Rs 10,999. Its successor, the Redmi 14C 5G, has been spotted on Geekbench with 8GB of RAM, a potential Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, and Android 14.

The Redmi 14C 5G is likely a rebranded version of the Redmi 14R 5G that launched in China in September. The Chinese model features a 6.8-inch 120Hz HD+ display, a 5,160mAh battery with 18W charging support, and a 13MP primary rear camera. However, the Indian variant will feature a different rear camera sensor.

The company will give out more details about the upcoming mid-range smartphone as we go closer to the launch date.
